Growing up in one of Europe’s top surf spots, he’s spent most of his life in the water and has been steadily gaining experience on the competitive circuit ever since. Deep in the remote waters of northern Indonesia, two brothers set out on a surf adventure to the untouched island of Simeulue. One, a surfer chasing the perfect barrel. The other, a photographer and videographer capturing the journey. From sunrise paddle-outs to empty lineups, powerful waves, and raw island beauty, this film is a story of passion, exploration, and the deep connection between surfing and storytelling. Through stunning cinematography and immersive sound, experience the rhythm of life on this hidden paradise.

As an intern at the Sunova Factory in Khao Lak, my days were centered around capturing the art of surfboard crafting through video and photography. I spent my time moving between the bustling factory floor and the serene coastline, documenting the meticulous process of shaping boards, from raw materials to finished products. Each day presented new angles and creative challenges, whether it was framing the perfect shot of a board being shaped or filming the vibrant energy of the team at work. My role was to visually narrate the story of Sunova, blending the technical precision of surfboard manufacturing with the beauty of the craft.

With every ride, laughter, and shared glance, the bond between us grows stronger, making this session not just about the surf, but about friendship and the simple joy of being in harmony with nature.

In this documentary, we delve into the captivating world of a Parisian surfboard shaper, an artisan whose expertise blends tradition with innovation at the heart of his workshop. Through his passionate vision, discover how he transforms raw wood into unique surfboards, each curve bridging the bustling city of Paris with the untamed freedom of the ocean. This film takes you on a journey where the waves meet cobblestone streets, challenging conventions to reveal a new perspective on modern craftsmanship.

SYNPHONIE PERSONNELLE

Romain's room is a sanctuary, filled with vinyl records, musical instruments, and posters of his favorite artists. At the center, he sits, lost in his world, wearing a Rammstein T-shirt and torn military pants, headphones on, immersed in his music. The enchanting rhythms transport him to another realm, where music is his language and refuge. But when a phone call from his best friend interrupts his solitude, inviting him to a party, Romain hesitates. Torn between his musical haven and the outside world, he ultimately decides to grab his guitar and step out into the night, guided by the melody that never leaves him. The camera pulls back, capturing Romain's silhouette as he walks away, his steps in sync with the inner music that continues to lead him.

In this Parisian journey of ambition and resilience, the city of lights becomes the backdrop for two individuals chasing their dreams. On one side, a drummer pours heart and soul into every beat, his rhythm echoing through the streets as he sharpens his craft, driven by the desire to play alongside the greats. On the other, a basketball player, relentless on the court, pushing his limits with every dribble, every shot, fueled by the vision of competing at the highest level. Their paths, though different, intertwine in a shared pursuit of excellence, embodying the spirit of Paris—where passion meets perseverance in the quest to rise above.

KHO YAO YAI

In this video journey through Kho Yao Yai, the viewer is immersed in a world where nature's grandeur meets serene solitude. The adventure begins beneath the waves, where vibrant marine life dances in the crystal-clear waters during an unforgettable scuba dive. The exploration continues above ground, with a ride through lush forests that breathe life into the island's soul. A deserted island beckons, offering untouched sands and quiet contemplation, a stark contrast to the lively ocean.  From above, drone shots capture the harmonious blend of luxurious isolation as the hotel and beaches stretch out like a paradise on the horizon, leaving the viewer with a sense of awe and tranquility.
